Parent Partnership

Parent Partnership

Emmaus was established by a group of parents and continues to encourage parents to be involved with their child’s education and school life generally, as this benefits the student as well as the school.

Parent involvement helps to build community and partnership. Parents are expected to contribute, in practical ways, towards the successful running of the school.

Parent Involvement Program

Our Parent Involvement Program (PIP) formalises this support. PIP is designed to encourage all parents to offer practical assistance to the school in a variety of areas.

Parents and Friends (P&F) Committee

The school has a P&F Committee that seeks to:

  • Support and demonstrate the Emmaus vision/purpose and values

  • Promote fellowship, friendship and community amongst Emmaus

    parents and friends.

  • Plan, coordinate and implement fundraising activities, with a view to

raising funds for school initiatives not funded by the school’s existing operating budget.
